Suspect to identify following a commercial robbery on Rideau Street

(Ottawa) — The Ottawa Police Service is seeking public assistance to identify a suspect responsible for a robbery in the 200 block of Rideau Street on December 12th.
At approximately 4:15 pm, the suspect entered the store, selected items and did not pay. He assaulted an employee who attempted to stop him.
The suspect is described as a white male, in his 20s and was clean shaven. He wore a dark coloured winter parka with a hood with fur, a beige shirt and construction boots (see photos).
Anyone with information as to the identity of this individual, or information about this incident, is asked to contact the Ottawa Police Service Robbery Unit at 613-236-1222, ext. 5116.
