Suspect to identify following a commercial robbery on Rideau Street

(Ottawa) — The Ottawa Police Service is seeking public assistance to identify a suspect responsible for a robbery in the 200 block of Rideau Street on December 12^th.

At approximately 4:15 pm, the suspect entered the store, selected items and did not pay. He assaulted an employee who attempted to stop him.   

The suspect is described as a white male, in his 20s and was clean shaven. He wore a dark coloured winter parka with a hood with fur, a beige shirt and construction boots (see photos).
