Suspect to identify following a sexual assault in Montreal Road and Lacasse Avenue area

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Thursday, September 3, 2020   8:00am 

(Ottawa) — The Ottawa Police Service responded to a call for service about a sexual assault that occurred in the Montreal Road and Lacasse Avenue area on August 30^th. 

At approximately 7:00p.m., an unknown man entered a ground unit and sexually assaulted an adult man with mobility issues.  The suspect fled the area. The victim sustained minor injuries. 

The suspect is described as a Black man, 25-35 years old, 6’ (183cm), slim and muscular. He was wearing a black face mask, a black head covering, moss green sweatpants. He did not speak English.
