Charges laid in OC Transpo assault investigation

(Ottawa) — The Ottawa Police Service East Criminal Investigation Section is advising that the suspect has been identified, arrested and charged.
Patrick GRATTON-CLEROUX, 30-years-old of Ottawa, has been charged with:
- Assault causing bodily harm
He will appear in court at a later date.

Suspect to identify following an assault on an OC Transpo bus
(Ottawa) — The Ottawa Police Service East Criminal Investigation Section is seeking public assistance to identify a suspect responsible for an assault on August 23rd.
At approximately 3:00pm, while riding an OC Transpo bus, the suspect approached a group of youths and without provocation assaulted one of them. The suspect then got off the bus at Place d’Orléans and boarded another bus.
The victim sustained serious injuries.
The suspect is described as a white male, mid to late 30’s, heavy set with green eyes. At the time of the incident, he was seen wearing a grey Adidas shirt, dark cargo pants, black boots and a black Senators ball cap. He also has a distinct mole on his right cheek.
