Suspect to identify following an assault on Charlotte Street
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Tuesday, November 5, 2024 11:25 am
(Ottawa) – The Ottawa Police Service Central Criminal Investigations Section is seeking public assistance in identifying a suspect involved in an assault in the 200 block of Charlotte Street on September 19th just before 6:00 pm during a demonstration.
The man was aggressive, spitting at vehicles and some people who were leaving a business. Police later attended but the man had already left.
The suspect is described as white male, tall and slim build, in his 40s, with greyish hair. He was wearing a yellow shirt and green shorts, a brown sweater tied around his waist and a black/green fedora hat. He has tattoos on his left arm. (see photo)
