Suspect to identify in 300 block Bank Street robbery
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Monday, June 3, 2019 11:53pm
(Ottawa) — The Ottawa Police Service Robbery Unit is looking for the public’s help in identifying a man in relation to personal robbery in the 300 block of Bank Street on May 3, 2019.
At about 1:20 a.m. the male suspect attended a business on Bank Street to purchase an item from the victim. After viewing the item, the suspect proceeded to press an object against the victim’s throat and demanded that he gives him the item or he would push it further into his neck. The suspect left with the item. The victim was not injured.
The suspect is described as a light-skinned male. At the time of the incident, he was wearing a red puffy jacket with a hood, black baseball cap, black pants and white shoes with black sole. (See attached pictures)
