Suspect to identify in a Baseline commercial robbery

(Ottawa) — The Ottawa Police Service Robbery Unit is seeking public assistance in identifying a suspect involved in a commercial robbery in the 1900 block of Baseline Road on July 18th.
At approximately 11:00 am, the lone male suspect entered the store selected a product and walked out of the store. Staff approached the suspect, which is when he attempted to assault them. He then fled the area in a vehicle.
The victims did not sustain any physical injuries.
The suspect is described as male, mid 20’s, approximately 5’ 2” (157 cm), between 150-170lbs (68-77 kgs), with a black goatee. At the time of the incident, he was seen wearing a light long sleeved shirt, grey jogging style pants, a red Nike Air baseball cap and carrying a black backpack (see photos).
The vehicle is described as a grey Honda Fit with a cartoon monkey face sticker on the rear window and a trailer hitch (see photos).
