Suspect to identify in a Dalhousie Street commercial theft
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Friday, August 16, 2024 11:15 am
(Ottawa) — The Ottawa Police Service Central Criminal Investigation Section is seeking public assistance in identifying a suspect involved in a commercial theft in the 300 block of Dalhousie Street on August 12th.
At approximately 11:30 pm, the suspect entered the store, jumped onto the counter and stole the entire cash drawer. He then fled the store with an undisclosed amount of money.
The suspect is described as a white male, in his 30’s, approximately 5’7” (170 cm), with a medium build, dark brown hair and dark brown facial hair. At the time of the incident he was seen wearing a black sweatshirt with a white logo on the front, black Adidas sweatpants and black shoes with white soles. He also has distinct tattoos on his right hand (see photos).
