(Ottawa) — The Ottawa Police Service West Criminal Investigative Section is seeking public assistance to identify a suspect responsible for an assault in Barrhaven in the 100 block of Marketplace Avenue.
At approximately 7:40 pm on August 24th, the suspect assaulted the victim, leaving the victim with minor injuries.
The suspect is described as a white male, between 5’10” (178 cm) and 6’0” (183 cm) tall, with a medium build. At the time of the incident he was seen wearing a blue hooded jacket, black hat with a light brim, plaid pants, black, blue and white Nike running shoes and black gloves.

Suspect to identify in an assault in Barrhaven
(Ottawa) — The Ottawa Police Service West Criminal Investigative Section is seeking public assistance to identify a suspect responsible for an assault in Barrhaven on August 24th.
At approximately 7:40 pm, the suspect and victim had an interaction in which the suspect became aggressive and assaulted the victim with a weapon, the suspect then fled the area on foot.
The victim sustained minor injuries.
The suspect is described as a white male, between 5’10” (178 cm) and 6’0” (183 cm) tall, with a medium build. At the time of the incident he was seen wearing a blue hooded jacket, black hat with a light brim, plaid pants, black, blue and white Nike running shoes and black gloves.
