Suspect to identify in Bayshore Drive assault
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Tuesday, January 28, 2020 12:45pm
(Ottawa) – Ottawa Police West Criminal Investigations are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect in an incident that occurred on January 11 at approximately 2:00pm in the 100 block of Bayshore drive.
A woman, driving a dark coloured SUV, struck an unoccupied parked vehicle. The suspect then assaulted a witness and attempted to steal the victim’s phone. The suspect then assaulted a second witness and attempted to steal their phone. The suspect then fled the area.
The suspect is described as a Middle Eastern woman, 5’5” (165cm) with a medium build. (see photo.)
Investigators are also looking for anyone who may have witnessed this incident.
