Suspect to identify in Blossom Park Theft
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Monday, August 9, 2021 1:15pm
(Ottawa) — The Ottawa East Criminal Investigation Unit is looking for the public’s assistance to identify an individual involved in a theft that occurred in the City’s East end.
At approximately 1:00pm on Saturday, July 10th, 2021, a woman paid for her purchases at a convenience store located in the 4000 block of Bridle Path Drive. After the transaction, she inadvertently left a plastic bag containing her money on the counter and left the store. A man then approached the counter and stole the bag.
The suspect is described as a Caucasian man, approximately 50 years old, and heavy build. He has short brown/grey hair. He has a large tattoo covering his exterior left forearm. At the time of the offence, he was wearing a grey t-shirt, beige pants and a white mask covering his nose and mouth (see photos).
