Suspect to identify in Centretown robbery

(Ottawa) — The Ottawa Police Robbery Unit is seeking public assistance to identify a suspect involved in a personal robbery that occurred near the intersection of Gloucester and Percy Streets on April 27th.
At approximately 2:00 am, a male suspect approached the victim while they were walking on the street. The suspect approached the victim, grabbed her and stole her cell phone. He then fled the area on foot.
The victim did not sustain any physical injuries.
The suspect is described as a black male, 5’5” (165 cm), 150 lbs (68 kg) with a thin build, short hair with twists. During the incident he was seen wearing a black with grey camouflage Adidas zip up jacket, black jeans and black jean pants (see photos).
