Suspect to identify in Champagne Avenue South break and enter

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Friday, May 15, 2020   8:30am 

(Ottawa) – The Ottawa Police is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a man responsible for a residential break and enter in the 100 block of Champagne Avenue South, which occurred on April 24^th. 

At 12:04pm, a man entered a partially open garage door, discarded the orange jacket he was wearing, stole a bike and fled the area. 

The suspect is described as a Caucasian man, in his thirties, 5’ 6”(168cm), with dark hair (see photos).

Anyone with information regarding this break-in, or any other break-in, is asked to call the Ottawa Police Service Break and Enter Unit at 613-236-1222, ext. 2655.
