Suspect identified in city-wide commercial thefts

(Ottawa) — The Ottawa Police Service West Criminal Investigation Section is seeking public assistance to identify a suspect responsible for multiple commercial thefts across the city dating back to February of this year.
The female suspect enters the store, selects merchandise from the shelves, conceals it, and leaves on foot.
The suspect is described as a white female, approximately 5’3” (160 cm), heavy set, and 30-40 years old. In each incident, she is wearing different clothing. She has also changed her hair multiple times over the months (see photos).
Anyone with information about this individual's identity or about this incident is asked to contact Det. Ste Marie of the West Criminal Investigation Section at 613-236-1222, extension 2731.
