Suspect to identify in commercial Break and Enter in the East end
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Monday, June 21, 2021 12:35pm
(Ottawa) — The Ottawa Police Service Break and Enter Unit is seeking the public’s help in identifying an individual involved in a commercial Break and Enter that occurred on June 8th, 2021 in the 1200 block of St. Laurent Boulevard.
The individual is captured on video surveillance camera exiting the business carrying a large package, which appears to be a back-support massage cushion. He left the area on bicycle, and then boarded the O-Train (see photos).
The suspect is described as a Caucasian man with a thin build and short brown hair.
In photos one and two, the suspect is seen wearing:
- Maroon jacket;
- black jeans;
- black sneakers with a white sole;
- black and white Under Armour gloves;
- black mask covering his mouth and nose;
- black headphones; and
- black backpack.
In photo three, the suspect appears to have removed the jacket and is seen wearing a dark-coloured long sleeve shirt. Tattoos are visible on both forearms and on the top of his left hand.
Anyone who can identify this man or has information regarding this Break and Enter, or any other Break and Enter, is asked to call the Ottawa Police Break and Enter Unit at 613-236-1222 ext. 4533.
