Suspect to identify in commercial robbery on Hazeldean Road

(Ottawa) – The Ottawa Police Robbery Unit is seeking public assistance in identifying a suspect involved in a commercial robbery in the 400 block of Hazeldean Road on January 14, 2025.
At approximately 5:40 p.m., a lone man entered the financial institution and approached the counter. The suspect indicated he was armed and demanded money from the staff. The suspect was provided with an undisclosed amount of money and fled the scene. He was last seen running east up a pathway from the bank.
The suspect is described as a White man of unknown age, approximately 6’ 3” (1.91 m), approximately 170 lbs (77 kg), with brown eyes. His face was fully masked. He was wearing a red jacket with a hood up, black pants, black shoes with white soles, and a red Metro grocery bag.
