Suspect to identify in construction site break and enters
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Tuesday, March 5, 2024 1:25 pm
(Ottawa) —The Ottawa Police Service Break and Enter Unit is seeking public assistance in identifying a suspect involved in multiple break and enters between January 29th and February 23rd.
At approximately 9:30 pm on January 29th a lone male suspect broke into a construction site in the 100 block of Montreal Road.
At approximately 1:15 am on February 14th the same suspect broke into a construction site in the 2000 block of Wellings Private.
At approximately 8:50 pm on February 23rd the same suspect broke into a construction site in the 2000 block of Baseline Road.
Each time the suspect stole a large quantity of tools and large spools of copper wire.
The suspect is described as a white male between 30 and 40 years old, approximately 6”0’ (183 cm) tall, large build and wearing thin frame glasses. In each incident he is seen wearing different clothing.
This suspect is believed to have committed similar break and enters in Gatineau.
