Suspect to identify in East end Commercial Robbery
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Friday, December 3, 2021 9:30 am
(Ottawa) – The Ottawa Police Service Robbery Unit is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a woman responsible for a commercial robbery on November 17, 2021 on Innes Road.
At about 5:40 pm, a woman entered a commercial business located in the 3000 block of Innes Road. She stole merchandise and brandished a knife when she was confronted by employees. There were no reported injuries and the woman fled on foot.
The Suspect is described as a Caucasian woman with a tanned complexion, late thirties to early forties, medium build, 5’6” (168cm). She was wearing a black Adidas track suit with white stripes, black shoes and a black COVID half-mask. She was carrying a small black purse and a black duffle bag (See photo).
