Suspect to identify in Elgin Street Robbery
(Ottawa) — The Ottawa Police Service Robbery Unit is looking to identify a suspect involved in a commercial robbery on April 9th in the 200 block of Elgin Street.
At approximately 9:50 pm, a lone suspect entered the store and took several items. He proceeded to exit, and when confronted by staff, he threatened him with a knife.
No knife was seen.
The suspect fled the area on foot.
The staff member did not sustain any injuries.
The suspect is described as a white male, 20-30 years old, 6’0” (183 cm), brown hair, and brown short facial hair. At the time of the incident, he was wearing a light grey hoodie with the hood up, and a dark grey jacket over the hoodie.
