Suspect to identify in Elgin Street robbery

(Ottawa) – The Ottawa Police is asking for the public’s assistance to help identify a suspect for a robbery that occurred on June 30, 2019 on Elgin Street.
At approximately 10:15 am the suspect entered a store located in the 200 block of Elgin Street. The suspect entered the store and brandished an X-Acto knife (box cutting knife). The suspect demanded money from the cash register. The suspect took an undisclosed amount of Canadian currency and fled North bound on Elgin Street.
The suspect is described as a Caucasian male, 50-60 yrs old, average build and height, medium length brown and grey hair and a salt and pepper goatee (see pictures.)
