Suspect to identify in flight from police
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Wednesday, June 19, 2024 9:45 am
(Ottawa) — The Ottawa Police Service West Division Front Line Patrol is seeking public assistance in identifying a suspect involved in a traffic incident on March 15th near the intersection of Greenbank and West Hunt Club Roads.
At approximately 1:25pm, officers observed a motorcycle, driven by the suspect travelling at a very high rates of speed on West Hunt Club Road. The motorcycle was later captured on radar at speeds of 160 km per hour along Greenbank Road. In addition to the high rates of speed, officers observed the driver performing stunt driving maneuvers. When officers attempted to conduct a traffic stop the motorcycle did not stop, instead it ran a red light and entered the highway going East bound.
At the time of the incident, the suspect was seen wearing a unique brightly coloured jacket, blue pants with red, white and black motorcycle boots and a multi-colour helmet. The motorcycle can be described as a black sport bike.
