Suspect to identify in fraud and theft of vehicle

(Ottawa) — The Ottawa Police Service Central Criminal Investigative Section is seeking public assistance in identifying a suspect involved in a fraud and theft of a motor vehicle in the 1600 block of Laperriere Avenue.
On January 29th the female suspect rented a vehicle using identification and credit card information that was fraudulent. Approximately a week later, the suspect returned and extended the rental, the vehicle was not returned.
The suspect is described as a light skinned female, with dark hair and heavy build. In each incident she was seen wearing different clothing and hair styles.
Anyone with information as to the identity of this suspect or this incident is asked to contact the Ottawa Police Service Central Criminal Investigative Section at 613-236-1222 extension 5166.
