Suspect identified in Grovehurst Park Sexual Assaults

Suspect to identify in Grovehurst Park Sexual Assaults

(Ottawa)— The Ottawa Police Service Sexual Assault and Child Abuse (SACA) Unit is requesting the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect in two ongoing investigations in Grovehurst Park, Barrhaven.

At approximately 8:00 pm on May 30, the suspect approached a girl (under 16) and sexually assaulted her. 

At approximately 8:00 pm on June 23, the suspect approached a woman and sexually assaulted her.

The suspect is described as East Indian, approximately 60 years old, under 6'0" ft tall, with a grey beard and moustache. He walks with a cane.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Ottawa Police Service Sexual Assault and Child Abuse Unit at 613-236-1222, extension 5944. Tips may also be sent electronically to SACA@ottawapolice.ca.
