Suspect to Identify in Hazeldean Rd Robbery

(Ottawa) – The Ottawa Police Service Robbery Unit is seeking the public’s assistance to identify a man involved in a commercial robbery in the 500 block of Hazeldean Road.

On August 6th at approximately 3:17 am, the suspect entered a commercial business, made threats toward the clerk, and demanded cash and cigarettes. The suspect left on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash and cigarettes.

The clerk did not sustain any injuries.

The suspect was described as a white male, heavy build, 40-50 years old, wearing a green hooded sweatshirt and a blue surgical mask.
