Suspect to identify in Hobin Street Commercial Robbery

(Ottawa) – The Ottawa Police Service Robbery Unit is looking for the public’s assistance to identify a man involved in a robbery in the 1-100 block of Hobin Street on April 13th, 2022.
At approximately 3:16am, the lone man entered a business with a handgun demanding money and cigarettes. The clerk complied and the suspect fled on foot. There were no reported injuries.
The suspect is described as Caucasian, tall, slim build wearing a white hooded sweatshirt with block letters “NY” on the front in dark, possibly blue-colored lettering, white or light grey track pants, red shoes, and a full-face skeleton mask. He was also seen carrying a grey bag with black trim (see photos).
