Suspect to identify in Jasmine Crescent Break and Enter

(Ottawa) – The Ottawa Police Service Break and Enter Unit is looking for public assistance in identifying a suspect in break and enter in the 2000 block of Jasmine Crescent.Overnight on September 22, the suspect entered an underground parking garage and entered a vehicle, stealing the owner’s belongings which included a credit card. The credit card was then used to make purchases at a business nearby.
The suspect is described as a white male with a thin build, dark hair and “chin strap” beard. He was seen wearing a black t-shirt with red writing, black hooded sweatshirt, grey sweatpants, black running shoes and a green Tilley-style hat. He may also be carrying a black backpack.
