Suspect to identify in knifepoint robbery in Westboro

(Ottawa) — The Ottawa Police Service Robbery Unit is looking for the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect in the knifepoint robbery incident of two youths’ bikes on May 24th in Westboro.
The male suspect, who was captured on video surveillance at the Blair Station on same day, is described as a Caucasian or Indigenous male, 5’7” (170cm), slim build. He was wearing a grey PUMA track suit (see photos).

Knifepoint robbery of two youths over bikes in Westboro
(Ottawa) — The Ottawa Police Service Robbery Unit is looking for the public’s assistance in identifying four individuals involved in robbing two youths of their bikes on May 24th.
At approximately 6pm that day, two youths were sitting on the grass near the intersection of Byron and Kirkwood Avenues with their bicycles next to them. They were approached by three men who brandished a knife and robbed them of their bicycles. The men then fled the area. The youths did not sustain any injuries.
At approximately 6:40pm, a fourth man was seen near Merivale Road and Baseline Road selling a bicycle similar to one that was just robbed.
The first three men are described as Black males, approximately 6’0” (183cm), late teens to early 20’s, and they were wearing dark clothes and masks. The fourth man is described as an Asian male, approximately 30 years old, wearing jeans and a mask just below the nose.
The first stolen bicycle is a Giant Brass 1, 21 speed, grey and blue in colour. The second one is a Northrock Racing Bicycle, 21 speed, black and neon green in colour (see photos).
