Suspect to identify in Laurier Avenue Commercial Robbery

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Friday, January 21, 2022   10:00am

(Ottawa) – The Ottawa Police Service Robbery Unit is looking for public’s assistance to identify a man involved in a robbery in the 200 block of Laurier Avenue East on January 11^th, 2022.

At approximately 11:40pm, a lone man entered the business and demanded money. The suspect left on foot. No injuries were reported in this incident.

The suspect is described as a Caucasian man in his late 20’s or early 30’s, approximately 5’9” (175cm), with a heavy build. He was wearing a brown jacket with white trim, black toque with white writing on the front, dark colored hooded sweatshirt, blue construction style pants with yellow and blue straps, dark colored boots, carrying a black bag with red.
