Suspect to identify in Main St arson

(Ottawa) – The Ottawa Police Arson Unit is seeking public assistance in identifying an individual involved in an arson incident in the 300 block of Main Street on January 23.

At approximately 12:10 am, the suspect approached a residence and threw a homemade device intended to set fire on impact at the building.

The suspect then left the area on foot. 

The suspect was seen wearing a red jacket, and from CCTV footage also appeared to be carrying a duffel bag and wearing a white face mask.
