Suspect to identify in Merivale Road commercial break-in

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Thursday, May 19, 2022 1:30 pm 

(Ottawa) – The Ottawa Police Service Break and Enter Unit is looking for the public’s assistance to identify a man involved in a commercial break in the 1600 block of Merivale Rd on August 22, 2021.

At about 4:05 am, a man was captured on surveillance video stealing a quantity of merchandise.

The suspect is described as Caucasian, slim build, 6 ft (183 cm) tall, with long blond hair pulled back in a ponytail. He has distinctive tattoos on his right arm. He was wearing a black T-shirt, a face mask and red gloves. (see photos)
