Suspect to identify in Merivale Road Commercial Robbery
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Tuesday, November 9th, 2021 4:30 pm
(Ottawa) – The Ottawa Police Service Robbery Unit is looking for the public’s assistance in identifying a man involved in a robbery in the 1600 block of Merivale Road, October 26th, 2021.
At approximately 8:30 pm, a lone man entered the business and demanded narcotics while handing over a note. The suspect left on foot with nothing. No injuries were reported in this incident.
The suspect is described as a Caucasian man in his mid 20’s to early 30’s, approximately 6’0” (183cm), with a slender build. He was wearing a black and grey jacket, black tuque, and dark jogging style pants. His face was covered with a mask (see photos).
