Suspect to identify in Montreal Road Commercial Robbery

(Ottawa) – The Ottawa Police Service Robbery Unit is looking for the public’s assistance to identify a man involved in a robbery in the 500 block of Montreal Road on January 27th, 2022.
At approximately 8:15am, a man entered the business and concealed food items in his bag. When confronted by employees while trying to leave without paying, he brandished a knife. There were no reported injuries.
The suspect is described as a Caucasian man, 5’7” – 5’10” (170-178cm), thin build, English-speaking. He was last seen wearing a black hooded jacket with white zippers, grey pants, and black winter boots. He was carrying two duffle bags, one red and one black, crossed over his body (see photo).
