Suspect to identify in Multiple Commercial Thefts in Kanata

(Ottawa) — The Ottawa Police Service West Criminal Investigations Section is seeking public assistance in identifying a suspect involved in multiple commercial theft incidents in the 5000 block of Fernbank Road between December 7, 2023 and January 18, 2024.

In each incident the lone male suspect enters the commercial establishment, he will select specific high value trading cards and then exit through an emergency door, fleeing the area on foot.

The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 25-35 years-old, 5’10 (178 cm), 175 lbs (79 kg), with a dark beard. In each incident he wears different clothing with the exception of brown boots.
