Additional photos: female suspect’s tattoo in personal robberies on Carling Ave

(Ottawa) — The Ottawa Police Service Robbery Unit continues to seek public assistance to identify two suspects responsible for three personal robberies in the 2100 and 3100 blocks of Carling Avenue.
The robberies were of elderly women, one robbery occurred on January 25th and two occurred on January 26th, all have been linked to the same male and female suspect.
At approximately 7:50 pm on January 25th the male suspect approached an elderly woman in the 3100 block of Carling Avenue, he then ripped her purse from her body and fled the area on foot. At approximately 11:20 pm the victim’s debit cards were fraudulently used in the 3100 block of Strandherd Drive in Barrhaven.
At approximately 4:45 pm on January 26th, the male suspect approached an elderly woman loading items into her vehicle in a parking lot and ripped her purse off her arm. Less than 30 minutes later, the same suspect approached another elderly woman on the same property and tore her purse off her shoulder.
The victims did not sustain any physical injuries.
The male suspect is described as, approximately 30 years old, 5’8”-5’10” (173-178 cm), average build with facial hair. He also has a noticeable scar on the right side of his neck. At the time of the incident, he was seen wearing black jeans, a black jacket with a red interior, a red hat with black designs, and carrying a reusable shopping bag.
The female suspect is described as a white female, approximately 20-years-old, average build with a noticeable tattoo, possibly a large butterfly on the top of her right hand. At the time of the incident, she was seen wearing a black Nike hooded sweatshirt, a black winter jacket and light pants.

Additional suspect to identify in personal robberies in Carlingwood
(Ottawa) — The Ottawa Police Service Robbery Unit is seeking public assistance to identify an additional suspect responsible for three personal robberies in the 2100 and 3100 blocks of Carling Avenue.
In addition to the two previously reported robberies on January 26th, a third robbery of an elderly victim on January 25th has been linked to the same male suspect and include an additional female suspect.
At approximately 7:50 pm on January 25th the male suspect approached an elderly woman in the 3100 block of Carling Avenue, he then ripped her purse from her body and fled the area on foot. (Ottawa) — The Ottawa Police Service Robbery Unit is seeking public assistance to identify a suspect responsible for two personal robberies in the 2100 block of Carling Avenue.
At approximately 4:45 pm on January 26, the suspect approached an elderly woman loading items into her vehicle in a parking lot and ripped her purse off her arm.
Less than 30 minutes later, the same suspect approached another elderly woman on the same property and tore her purse off her shoulder.
The suspect then fled the area on foot.
The victims did not sustain any physical injuries.
The suspect is described as male, approximately 30 years old, 5’8”-5’10” (173-178 cm), average build with facial hair. He also has a noticeable scar on the right side of his neck (see photos).
