Suspect to identify in Queen Street robbery

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Tuesday, March 12, 2024         3:00 pm

(Ottawa) — The Ottawa Police Service Robbery Unit is seeking public assistance in identifying a suspect involved in robbery in the 300 block of Queen Street on February 20^th.

At approximately 12:20 am, the lone suspect entered an underground parking garage, assaulted the victim and stole their vehicle. The vehicle was recovered a short time later.

The suspect is described as a white male, in his early 50’s, 6”0’ (183 cm), bald, with a goatee. At the time of the incident, he was seen wearing a dark jacket, dark shirt and dark pants (see photo).
