Suspect to identify in Queen Street robbery
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Tuesday, March 12, 2024 3:00 pm
(Ottawa) — The Ottawa Police Service Robbery Unit is seeking public assistance in identifying a suspect involved in robbery in the 300 block of Queen Street on February 20th.
At approximately 12:20 am, the lone suspect entered an underground parking garage, assaulted the victim and stole their vehicle. The vehicle was recovered a short time later.
The suspect is described as a white male, in his early 50’s, 6”0’ (183 cm), bald, with a goatee. At the time of the incident, he was seen wearing a dark jacket, dark shirt and dark pants (see photo).
Anyone with information as to the identity of this individual, or information about this incident, is asked to contact the Ottawa Police Service Robbery Unit at 613-236-1222, ext. 5116.
