Suspect to identify in Rideau Street personal Robbery

(Ottawa) – The Ottawa Police Robbery Unit is looking for public assistance to identify a man involved in a personal Robbery on October 6th, 2021.
At approximately 5:40am in the 100 block of Rideau Street, a man brandished a knife, stole an undisclosed amount of money from a victim and fled on a bicycle. The victim did not sustain any injuries.
The suspect is described as a Caucasian man, early to late forties, medium to large build, 200 (91kg) to 220lbs (100kg), 5’9” (175cm) to 5’11” (180cm) with short hair. He was wearing a blue t-shirt, light-coloured shorts over grey pants, a light-coloured Titleist baseball hat, grey gloves, a black/grey backpack, and black running shoes (see photos).
