Suspect to identify in Slater Street robbery
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Thursday, July 10, 2019 3:05pm
(Ottawa) – The Ottawa Police Robbery Unit is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a male suspect in a personal robbery that occurred on June 3, 2019 at 1:30 pm in the 100 block of Slater Street.
The suspect was seen following the victim near the intersection of Slater and Metcalfe into a building on Slater Street. The suspect then struck the victim and stole items that the victim was carrying.
The suspect is described as a Black male, 20 - 25 years old, and 6’ tall (183cm). He was wearing a red jacket with a white hooded coat underneath, black sweatpants with red cuffs and white Nike running shoes (see pictures.)
