Suspect to identify in Somerset Street West commercial robbery

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Monday, April 20, 2020    9:35am 

(Ottawa) – Frontline Officers responded to a commercial robbery in the 600 block of Somerset Street West, on April 17, 2020. 

At approximately 1:40pm, a man, disguised with a surgical mask, entered into a financial institution and presented the teller with a note demanding cash. The suspect fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.  

The suspect is described as a dark skinned man, average build, 5’8” (173cm). He was wearing a black jacket over a grey hooded sweatshirt. He was also carrying a brown coat over his arm (see photos).
