Suspect to identify in Sussex Drive assault

(Ottawa) — The Ottawa Police Service is seeking public assistance to identify a suspect in an assault on Sussex Drive near Guigues Avenue on August 13th.
At approximately 10:00 am, the suspect rode his bicycle past the victim. As he rode past the victim, he shouted at him and assaulted him. The suspect then fled the area on his bike southbound toward Mackenzie Avenue.
The suspect is described as a white male, between 35-40 years old with a medium build. At the time of the incident, he was seen wearing a long sleeve navy blue jacket, black bike shorts, black bike shoes and an orange helmet. The bicycle is described as a black mountain bike with a large black bag on the back of it.
Anyone with information about this individual's identity or about this incident is asked to contact the Central Criminal Investigation Section of the Ottawa Police Service at 613-236-1222, extension 5166.
