Suspect to identify in Walkley Road commercial Robbery

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Wednesday, November 18, 2020, 10:00am  

(Ottawa) – The Ottawa Police Service Robbery Unit is seeking the public’s help to identify a man involved in a commercial Robbery in the 1100 block of Walkley Road on Wednesday, November 11th, 2020. 

At approximately 8:15pm, the suspect entered a store and stole merchandise. When he was approached by an employee, the suspect brandished a knife, threatening the employee. The suspect fled the area on foot. The employee was not injured in the incident. 

The suspect is described as a Caucasian man in his twenties, medium build, 5’6” (168 cm), with a birth mark on his left temple and scars on his right hand. He was wearing a dark blue baseball cap with white lettering, a black jacket with white lines around the waist level, sides and wrist areas, jeans and black running shoes with white soles. He was carrying a large black PS3 backpack and a black duffle bag (see photos).
