Suspect to identify in West end commercial robbery

(Ottawa) — The Ottawa Police Service Robbery Unit is looking to identify a suspect involved in a commercial robbery on January 4^th in the 1800 block of Baseline Road.

At approximately 5:30 am, a lone male entered the store and demanded that the clerk hand over cash. No weapon was used.

Before obtaining any money, the suspect fled the store on foot, heading north on Navaho Drive.

No one was injured.

The suspect is described as a white male, large build, 25-30 years old, and dark hair. He was last seen wearing a dark, hooded Eddie Bauer jacket, grey sweatpants and dark running shoes.
