Suspect to identify in West End Robbery

(Ottawa) — The Ottawa Police Service Robbery Unit is looking to identify a suspect involved in a commercial robbery on December 4^th in the 1300 block of Baseline Road.

At approximately 11:00 pm, a lone suspect entered a store and concealed several items in a bag before proceeding to the exit. When confronted by staff, he resisted and produced a knife.

The suspect left the store on foot.

No one was injured.

The suspect is described as a Caucasian male, approximately 6 ft (183 cm), average build, with light brown hair and possible facial hair. At the time of the incident, he was wearing a red hoodie, beige jacket, blue jeans, blue baseball hat (Toronto Blue Jays emblem), a blue surgical mask, and brown Timberland style boots (see photos).
