Suspect to identify in West end stabbing

(Ottawa) — The Ottawa Police Service West General Investigative Section is seeking public assistance in identifying a suspect involved in a stabbing incident in the 1400 block of Woodroffe Avenue on January 13.
At approximately 4:30 pm, the victim and suspect engaged in a verbal altercation in a local store. When the victim exited the store, he was stabbed.
The victim sustained serious injuries.
The suspect is described as a black male, 35-40 years old, average height and slim build, shaved head, short goatee style beard, and has glasses. At the time of the incident, he was wearing a black jacket with a black hoodie underneath (white drawstring cords), black pants and black shoes.
