Suspects identified in Billings Bridge robbery

We ask that the suspects’ photos be removed from online and social media posts.

Suspects to identify in Billings Bridge robbery
(Ottawa) — The Ottawa Police Service Robbery Unit is seeking the public’s help in an investigation into a robbery that occurred on February 5 in the 2200 block of Riverside Drive.
At approximately 4:30 pm, a male victim was approached by two men who demanded that he hand over his phone. During the confrontation, the victim was shoved, and his phone stolen after it fell from his hands.
While being shoved, the victim’s two-year-old daughter was also shoved and fell to the ground.
Neither the victim nor his daughter sustained any injuries.
Suspect one is described as a black male, 18-20 years of age. He was last seen wearing a blue hoodie and a red/white/black jacket, blue jeans, high black boots, and a black and gold baseball hat with the word Toronto on it.
Suspect two is described as a black male, 18-20 years of age, black ear-length braided hair, and a tattoo on his left hand. He was last seen wearing a grey hoodie, a black Canada Goose jacket, blue jeans, and white high-top sneakers.
