Suspects to identify in Chinatown mischief
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Monday, November 20, 2023 1:10 pm
(Ottawa)— The Ottawa Police Service Central District Investigation Unit is looking for public assistance in identifying three suspects that damaged statues in the 700 block of Somerset Street W on October 8th.
Between the hours of 10:00 and 11:00 pm, male suspects approached two statues outside of a commercial business and proceeded to kick them, which caused both statues to break. The suspects then left the area on foot.
Suspect one is described as a dark-skinned male, medium build. He was seen wearing a red Nike hooded sweatshirt and light jeans.
Suspect two is described as a white male, medium build with short brown hair. He was last seen wearing a black jacket, black pants and a black baseball cap with the Chicago White Sox logo.
There is no description for the third male suspect.
