Suspects to identify in East end Catalytic converter thefts
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Tuesday, August 24th, 2021 11:50am
(Ottawa) – The Break and Enter Unit is looking for public assistance to identify two individuals involved in a Break and Enter resulting in the theft of catalytic converters on July 28th, 2021.
At approximately 2:30 am, two male suspects gained entry into a secure underground parking garage in the 1200 block of Donald Street. They proceeded to remove the catalytic converters from two parked vehicles.
Suspect one is described as a Caucasian or Middle Eastern man in his 20’s, average build, and dark brown shoulder length hair. He was last seen wearing a black jacket with a light grey and white t-shirt, dark jeans, black Nike sneakers, a baseball cap, and a black face mask (see photos).
Suspect two is described as a Caucasian or Middle Eastern man, and average build. He was last seen wearing a green or grey hooded sweater, black puffy vest, blue t-shirt, black pants, black/red/white sneakers (no photo).
Anyone with information about these individuals, can identify them, or has any information in relation to this incident, is asked to contact the Ottawa Police Break and Enter Unit at 613-236-1222, ext. 3435.
