Suspects to identify in George Street Stabbing
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Wednesday, March 30, 2022 11:00 am
(Ottawa) – The Ottawa Police Service is asking for the public’s help in identifying two suspects responsible for a stabbing on March 19th, 2022 in the 100 block of George Street.
At about 2:40 am, an altercation occurred between two groups on George Street. During the incident, two men were stabbed and sustained minor injuries. All parties had fled the scene prior to police arrival. The victims later called police to report the incident and were transported to hospital by Ottawa Paramedics. Their injuries are considered non-life threatening.
Suspect one is described as a man in his 20’s, 5’4” (163cm), with dark hair pulled back with shaved sides. He was last seen wearing a black parka with a fur-lined hood, low-riding green pants, tan and black boots, and a patterned shirt (see attached photo).
Suspect two is described as a man in his 20’s, 5’10” (178cm), last seen wearing a black bubble coat, black pants, black boots, red hood and a black tuque with emblem (see attached photos).
Investigators would like to speak with anyone who may have information about this incident.
They are also looking for anyone who may have been in the area at the time or anyone who has dashcam or security footage of the incident.
