Suspects to identify in McArthur Avenue Commercial Robbery
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Monday, March 7, 2022 1:35 pm
(Ottawa) – The Ottawa Police Service Robbery Unit is looking for the public’s assistance to identify two men involved in a robbery in the 300 block of McArthur Avenue on February 19th, 2022.
At approximately 10:50pm, two men entered the business and demanded money. The first suspect produced a firearm and made threats to harm the clerk if he did not comply while the second suspect entered the premise and remained by the doors. Both suspects fled the scene prior to police arrival with an undisclosed amount of money. There were no reported injuries.
The first suspect is described as a Caucasian man in his 30’s. He was wearing black pants, an olive green winter jacket that went to his knees with a hood which has a grey fluorescent "X" on the front and back, and brown boots (see photos).
The second suspect is described as wearing a black hooded jacket, blue jeans, and brown boots. (see photo)
