Suspects to identify in multiple frauds
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Thursday, October 17, 2024 10:15 am
(Ottawa) – The Ottawa Police Service West Criminal Investigations Section is seeking the public's assistance in identifying three suspects involved in a theft and subsequent frauds in the 1900 block of Baseline Road on September 11th.
At approximately 2:40pm, one of the suspects offered to help the victim, while another suspect stole their wallet from their purse. The suspects then made multiple purchases using the victim’s credit cards.
Suspect one is described as a light skinned male, approximately 40 years old, 5’10” (178 cm), with a short dark beard. He was last seen wearing a black t-shirt, jean jacket and black baseball cap.
Suspect two is described as a light skinned female, approximately 5’4” (163 cm), in her 40’s with long dark hair, with a tattoo on her right forearm. She was last seen wearing a white shirt and green pants, white shoes and sunglasses.
Suspect three is described as a female, possibly East Indian, with long black hair. She was last seen wearing a long blue and white dress with a long sleeve white shirt over top, black shoes and carrying a white purse.
