Suspects to identify in South Keys Hate-Motivated Assault and Mischief

(Ottawa) – The Ottawa Police Service East Criminal Investigation Unit is looking to identify two men involved in a Hate-motivated Assault and Mischief, on November 10th.
At approximately 8:00 pm, two men approached the victim’s vehicle located in a commercial plaza parking lot in the 2500 block of Bank Street. They started yelling racial slurs at the occupants, kicking the vehicle, and throwing objects at it. When the driver got out to try to stop the mischief, he was punched in the face by one of the two men.
The first suspect is a Caucasian man, mid to late twenties, approximately 6’2” (188cm), 200lbs (91kg), heavy build with messy dirty blonde hair and beard. At the time of the incident he was wearing a dark jacket with reflective yellow/silver safety striping on the front and back (Safety-type vest), black pants and brown construction boots with black toe cap (see photos). He left the scene riding a dark blue BMX style bicycle.
The second suspect is a Caucasian man, approximately 5’5”(165cm), 150lbs(68kg). No photos are available for this suspect.
