Suspects to identify in St-Laurent Boulevard Stabbing
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Wednesday, March 2, 2022 8:05 am
(Ottawa) — The Ottawa Police Service is asking for the public’s help in identifying two suspects responsible for a stabbing on January 31, 2022 in the 1900 block of St-Laurent Boulevard.
At about 12:05 pm, an alteration occurred in the parking lot between two suspects and the victim. The victim was sprayed with a chemical irritant before being stabbed in the back. All parties fled the scene prior to police arrival. The victim was later located at the hospital. His injuries are considered non-life threatening.
Suspect one is described as a Black man, between 18-25 years old, thin build, wearing light blue cut-up jeans, a black jacket with fur-lined hood, black mask, and black shoes with a red tongue (see attached photo).
Suspect two is described as a Black man, between 18-25 years old, thin build, wearing a white t-shirt, grey “Roots” sweatpants and a hoodie, black mask, black winter jacket, black gloves, and brown Timberland boots. (see attached photo).
